Following two SLAF players were selected to represent the Sri Lanka Senior Women's team which is currently participating at the 15th Asian Senior Women's Vollyball championship at Hanoi, Vietnam.

Incidentally Sgt Jayarathne is a former National Volleyball Captain and the winner of the prestigious AFSC (Air Force Sports Council) Trophy in 2001, which is awarded to the Most Outstanding Sportswoman of the year.
