SLAF Palavi Celebrates its 4th Formation Day

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palavi celebrated its 4th Formation day on 1st of November 2011.
The commemoration celebrations initiated with a fatigue programme conducted at the Daluwa Temple Puttalam, a Blood Donation campaign and a tree planting campaign inside the camp premises where all station personnel actively participated.
The celebrations began with a Working Parade in the morning hours where the station Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Keerthi Wannigama addressed all Officers, Airmen and civilians of the station. Thereafter the celebrations continued with sports activities such as cricket volleyball and soccer matches being played. At the end of the sport activities an all ranks lunch was held at the Airmen’s Mess and an entertaining musical show was organized during the evening hours where all service personnel and civilians participated.
