Closing Address Ceremony of MTM Basic & OMT Advanced course

The closing address ceremony of No 1/2011 –A MTM Basic Course and 1/2011-A OMT Advanced course was held on 06 January 2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunwaedena and new Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander Chandimal Hettiarachchi, Staff Officer Gen Eng III Squadron Leader Ranga Perera training coordinating officer represented the ceremony on behalf of the Director General Engineering .
The MTM Basic course was commenced on 30 May 2011 and underwent both theory and practical training and pass out today as competent Motor Transport Mechanics.The OMT Advanced course was commenced on 15 August 2011 and they too followed both theory and practical training as per the new course syllabus and pass out today as efficient OMTs.
The shield for the best MTM of the course was awarded to 41011 AC SamerathungaBGRK and the Shield for the best OMT of the course was awarded to 30312 LAC Perera BBSMD.
