Nurse Certificated

Pharmacist

Proficient in preparing of all stock mixtures and other pharmaceutical preparations such as mixtures, powders, hard capsules, sachets, ointments, pastes, creams, emulsions, lotions, liniments, ear drops, eye drops nasal drops, inhalations gargles. Dispensing of routine and special prescriptions. Storage of drugs and other pharmaceutical preparations under optimal thermal conditions. Maintenance of drug stores and its accounting. Preparation of consumption records. Capable of taking charge of a large medical stores involved in procument, storage and distribution of drugs & dressing to all SLAF medical centres and Hospitals.



Radiographer

Ability to carry out full range of radiography procedures in radiography department (Diagnostic Imaginary Department), Theatres and Wards, conventional Radiography procedures, CT scan procedures, mammography procedures, MRI scan procedures, OTO theatre procedures, pace maker procedures, special radiography procedures with angiography. He has the basic knowledge in the maintenance and servicing all machines of radiography department.



PHI

Extremely competent in all duties and functions in the trade of PHI . Capable of administrating a large Public Health Section in the capacity of a senior PHI, Plan out health programmes for mass vaccinations and inoculations and conducting of family planning clinics and lecture programmes for the public. competent on factory hygiene and occupational health requirements, preparation of annual estimates and requisition of insecticides and other medical items for public health work, proper maintenance of expenditure accounts and stock ledgers, maintenance of statistical charts, graphs and maps, administration of inventories, supervision and control of minor staff and subordinates and conducting of training programmes and examinations.



Medical Laboratory Technologist

Has an ability to perform haematological investigations including haematological indices, clotting factors, blood bank serology and blood disoders.

Capable of performing biochemical investigations, including enzyme and hormone assays by using new methodology

Has a very good experience in handling spectrophotometers, semi-automated analyzers and batch analyzers.

Has an ability to organize a medical laboratory works including procurement, storage and quality management.

Has an ability to perform chemical analysis of food and water for probable poisons including Arsenic, Cyanide and other harmful contaminants.

Bears broad knowledge in instruments care, maintenance, minor repairs, equipment calibration and quality control assessments.

Has an ability to supervise and guide subordinates to develop their levels of proficiency.

Shows outstanding leadership qualities, capable of shouldering responsibilities and obtaining maximum co-operation from subordinates to develop their skills.



Occupation Therapist

Contribute in a team to achieve most effective assessment in treating disabled personnel. Assess, treat and rehabilitate patients who are physically mentally ill/disabled/handicapped either temporarily or permanently by application of activities and supervision. He has the ability for administration of Occupational Therapy Department and has the knowledge to function as a Occupational Therapist.



Physiotheapist

Asses the psychology and physical standard of patients. Diagnostic examination of the patients using manual techniques. Confirm the required treatment those who are having physical disability and handicaps and provide the treatment. Correction of deformities and reduce the pain of the patient Treatment for paralyse patients such as quadriplegia, hemiplegia & paraplegia and for the treatment for paediatric conditions.


 
ECG TECH

Ability to carry out full range of Electrocadiography procedures, paediatric echo - cardiography, and theatre electrocadiography procedures with supervision. He has the basic knowledge in the maintenance and servicing of electrocardiography machine.


 
EEG TECH

Ability to carry out full range of electroencephalography procedures, brain stem evoke response and video telemetric EEG procedure with supervision. He has he basic knowledge in maintains and supervision of the EEG machine.



Male Nurse

Possesses a thorough knowledge and wide experience in Organization, Administration and management of wards, and out patient department. Capable of handling all medical and surgical nursing care of patients with very little supervision. Requisition of drugs, dressings and other equipment required for wards and out patient department, proper care custody and maintenance of all types of Medical & Surgical equipment, drugs, barrack items and linen. Capable of assisting in surgery. Maintenance of statistics and records. Field nursing and first aid duties. Carry out Public Health measures including vaccinations and inoculations.



Nursing Assistant
