A special wheelchair donation programme was organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit at the SLAF Headquarters in Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte yesterday (02 April 2024). This significant event was made possible through the generous contributions of esteemed donors Mrs. W.K. Purna Priyadharshini, Mr. Jagath Sumathipala and Mrs. Samantha Sumathipala, who collaborated with the Seva Vanitha Unit by donating ten wheelchairs for the "Husma Plan" initiative. These wheelchairs were intended for distribution among deserving family members of SLAF personnel.

The event was held under the auspices of the Chairperson of the Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa. The recipients of the wheelchairs were as follows:
