Under the guidance of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, a special donation programme was held at “Hepola Kanitu Viduhala – Diyakobala Bibila” yesterday (10 April 2024) at the school premises. According to a request made by the principal, the requirement of sports items for the use of children at this school was highlighted and the Seva Vanitha Unit executed this donation programme via the “Husma Plan”.
Benevolent donors, Wing Commander Chamila Kahandakoralage and Mrs. Dedunu Kahandakoralage, joined hands with the Seva Vanitha unit for this worthy cause. Donated items included; volleyballs, netballs, volleyball nets, discus, javelin bars, chess boards, tennis balls, foot balls, cricket items, netball goal posts, a storage cupboard, etc. Additionally, stationary items and library books were donated to this school by the Seva Vanitha unit.
