GMM RANJTH KUMARA
Master Warrant Officer GGM Ranjith Kumara, the Command Master Warrant Officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force represents the highest Senior Non Commissioned Officer level of leadership and as such, provides direction for the other rankers and represents their interests as appropriate. He serves as the personal adviser to the Commander of the Air Force on all issues regarding the welfare, discipline, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of other rankers.
Master Warrant Officer Ranjith Kumara is the first to be appointed to the position of Command Master Warrant Officer. He was so appointed by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy who took the initiative to implement the highest Non Commissioned Officer position within the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Master Warrant Officer Ranjith Kumara enlisted in the Sri Lanka Air Force in May 1996 and his background includes various duties in the Aircraft Maintenance field. He served as an Aircraft Technician (Aero Engine Fitter) and has held various senior enlisted positions while serving at squadrons, wings, the Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering and the Command Quality Inspectorate.
Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Warrant Office In charge of Command Quality Assurance Inspectorate at Air Force Headquarters, Colombo.

2013 - Quality Assurance Service (Aeronautical) course at Communication Training Institute, Indian Air Force, Bangalore
2016 - Productivity Improvement Course at the Sri Lanka National Productivity Secretariat
2016 - Quality Control and QC Tools Course at the Sri Lanka National Productivity Secretariat
2018 - Chief Master Sergeant Orientation Course at the US Air Force Joint Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
