Along with the Annual General Meeting of Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Katukurunda a workshop on cookery and beauty culture was held recently.
   
Mrs. Shanika Fernando was appointed as the Chairperson to the Unit Seva Vanitha whilst Sgt Senarathne SMDNK was elected as the secretary and several other office bearers were also elected at the meeting.

The beauty culture demonstration was conducted by the Mrs Ruwani Marasinghe wife of Ex Squadron Leader MMPA Marasinghe and the cookery demonstration was done under the patronage of Avani Resort, Kalutara.

70 spouses of service personnel, airwomen and ladies from the civilian staff took part in this workshop which was followed by a lunch.
