The closing addresses of the No. 33 Drill Instructors’ and No. 42 Gunner Instructors’ Training Courses were held at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa under the patronage of the Acting Commanding Officer Wing Commander SPVK Senadheera.

Fifteen (15) DIs and fifty one (51) GIs successfully completed their courses and received their Pace Sticks and Lanyards during the ceremony.
 
25781 Corporal Priyantha HGS was the Best Drill Instructor and the Best Gunner Instructor was 30583 Corporal Dharmasooriya WTC.

The Warrant Officers in Charge of the Gunner and Drill Instructor Courses were Flight Sergeant Nandasena AK and Flight Sergeant Gunarathne KPMV respectively. Squadron Leader Manjula Wickremaarachchi shouldered the responsibility of the above courses as the Officer in Charge.
