Annual AOC's Inspection of SLAF Station Palavi

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Palavi on 7th August 2015.
Commanding Officer Wing commander GSN Priyadarshana received the Commander on his arrival and a Street Lining was accorded the Commander. During the inspection The Commander declared open the newly constructed 38 Regiment Wing and renovated Airman social club at the station.
30219 corporal Prasad BCS (Ops Guard) and Mr. NM Saman Kumara (Civilian Staff) were commended by the Commander for exceptional dedication in the execution of duties during the past year.
The Commander concluded the inspection by addressing all ranks of SLAF Station Palavi.
As a novel concept, an opportunity was afforded personnel to bring up any issues that wished to bring to the attention of the Commander. A special time was allocated for this after the initial briefing of the CO.
