Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palaly recently held its 1st Avurudu Ulela (Sinhala & Tamil New year festival) after the successful completion of the Humanitarian Operations in the area.

The Chief Guest of the event was Station Commanding Officer, Group Captain Nishen Abeysinghe. The 515 Brigade Commander Colonel Jayasundara was also present as a Guest of Honour.
 
The event saw large participation of the Service and Civil personnel of the station as well as some family members. Traditional games and events were held & prizes and gifts distributed at the conclusion of the event.
