Airwomen Galappaththi Flying to United Kingdom with the National Team

Air Force Women’s Netballer, Airwoman Galappaththi MGEK will depart on
14th April 2010 with the National Netball Team to participate in the
European Netball Championship.
The championship will be held in Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom from 15th to 28th April 2010 with the participation of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and other prominent European Nations.
Airwoman Galappaththi has been able to successfully qualify for the national team and represent Sri Lanka on several occasions. Airwoman Galappaththi is the Vice Captain of the SLAF team and was a member of Air Force team which won the Gold Star Netball Championship 2007 (England) & the Pesta Bola Jaring USM Netball Championship 2008 (Malaysia).
