No 6 Squadron Celebrtaes its 24th Anniversary

No 6 Squadron SLAF Base Anuradhapura celebrated their 24th anniversary on 15th March 2017 giving prominence to a series of social and religious activities.
A project of renovation, repairing of damaged building and furniture at "Sathuta" orphanage was done by the contributions of all the Squadron personnel. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Commanding Officer Group Captain NHDN Dias. Further, a Bodhipooja pinkama was conducted at "Mirisawatiya" on 14th March 2017. A working parade was held on 15th March 2017 at SLAF Base Anuradhapura with the presence of the Commanding Officer No 6 Sqn. Further, a multi religious activity was conducted at the Sqn on the same day to invoke blessings for all the service personnel of the Sqn and their families.
Finally, the day’s activities concluded with a cricket tournament and an all rank lunch.
