Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Batticaloa
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Batticaloa today (05 may 2017). The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander VGGB Piyasiri and awarded a street lining.
The Commander awarded commendation to 025742 Leading Aircraftsman Guruge HPGKG (Carpenter III) for his meritorious contribution for the betterment of the SLAF.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station. On conclusion and during the customary address for the Officers, Airmen and the Civilian staff of the Station, the Commander appreciated their hard work and dedication exhibited. The Commander encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station during next year.
