The 4th formation day celebration of SLAF hospital Colombo began with a parade reviewed by Commanding Officer, Group Captain PAV Padmaperuma. Addressing the gathering, the Commanding Officer thanked all who contributed to uplift the standards of the hospital, its contributions to the humanitarian operations, action during natural disasters, future challenges and its responsibilities towards the role and task of the SLAF.

A ‘Shramadhana’ Campaign was organized at “Maithree Childrens Home” where a free medical clinic was also conducted. An ‘Elle’ Match and Soccer Tournament was conducted with the participation of service personnel and the civilian staff of the Hospital. The event concluded with an all ranks lunch.

The Commanding Officer, All Medical Officers, other ranks, and civilian staff participated in the event.
