An Engineering Officer and a Logistics Officer received their Flight Engineers and Load Master Brevets respectively from the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy today (23 November 2018) at AFHQ.

The flight engineer, Squadron Leader GDP Premadasa who received his brevet had completed 50 hours of training on the C 130 Hercules Aircraft, while the Load Master, Squadron Leader IAKDP Ilangakoon who received his brevet had completed training on the Mi-17 Helicopter.

Further, Sergeant Senevirathne Banda KKR of SLAF Station Colombo was awarded a certificate of Commendation by the Commander for his outstanding contribution towards the Station.
