The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Commander's Inspection of SLAF Station Iranamadu today (6 May 2019).

The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Group Captain C Wickramaratne and was accorded a ceremonial street line.

The Commander awarded a Commendation to Sergeant Bandara RAS (Construction Technician) in recognition of his outstanding meritorious services towards the activities of the Station.

Thereafter, the Commander addressed the Station and appreciated the commendable effort taken by all Officers, Staff and Civilians in maintaining the standards to the highest level.
