No. 33 Land Based Air Defence Wing at SLAF Base Anuradhapura Celebrates 9th Anniversary
No. 33 Land Based Air Defence (LBAD) Wing at SLAF Base Anuradhapura celebrated its 9th Anniversary on 17 January 2020 under the guidance of the Commanding Officer Wing Commander RAYD Ranathunga.
In line with the formation day, arrangements were made to donate Shoes to 24 children at Kammalakkulama Primary School, Mihinthalaya and a Shramadana campaign was conducted at the same school on 15th January 2020. Further, a Missile Gunner Statue was unveiled in front of the Wing HQ. A cross section of Airmen from each LBAD Squadron/ Flight of No. 33 LBAD Wing representing their respective squadrons and flights participated for these activities.
