Civilians who complete Quarantine Leave for Homes from Vanni

180 Civilians from SL Navy families and those in close contact with them were released today (15 May 2020) from the SLAF quarantine centre located in Vanni. These civilians made up of 92 males and 88 females were sent to their homes today after completing the required quarantine period.
On the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, these civilians were provided with all necessities required to make their stay comfortable. The SLAF Quarantine Centre is entirely managed by the SLAF Regiment Training School at Vanni under the leadership of its Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Indrajith Weerasooriya. The civilians were also provided with transportation to their homes by the SLAF.
