The outgoing Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, made a farewell call on the Secretary of Defence, Major General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry premises this morning. (29 October 2020).

After a brief discussion, Air Marshal Dias conveyed his gratitude for the guidance and support during his tenure and presented the Secretary of Defence with a memento to mark the occasion. Major General (Retd) Gunaratne also reciprocated with the presentation of a memento to Air Marshal Dias and praised him for his dedicated and distinguished service to the nation and wished him success in all future endeavors.
