The Handing Over / Taking Over parade in view of the Change of Command at SLAF Station Iranamadu was conducted on 07 March 2023 at the Station Parade Square. The traditional customs proceeded, where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain DMR Dassanayake USP, MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt temporarily handed over the Command to Wing Commander RADSJP Ranasinghe MSc (Def & Strat Stu), BA (Def Stu), psc to resume duties as the Acting Commanding Officer of the SLAF Station Iranamadu.
 
Later, the new Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Group Captain MPS Marapperuma RWP, RSP, MBA in HRM, Pg Dip (HRA), MIM (SL), AMITD (SL), GI Fire E officially took over the office from Acting Commanding Officer, Wing Commander RADSJP Ranasinghe.
