The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, commenced Commander's Inspections for the year 2023 today (16 March 2023), with the inspection of SLAF Station Palaly.

The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain MADMC Manathunga and was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The inspection commenced at the Station Headquarters. Thereafter, during the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station. In conclusion, the Commander addressed all ranks of the Station where he thanked them for their dedicated services to the nation and the SLAF in particular during the challenging times that we are presently facing and encouraged them to strive for even higher standards.
