NO.49 CBRNE WING CELEBRATES 4TH ANNIVERSARY

The 4th anniversary of the No. 49 Chemical/Biological/Nuclear/explosive Device (CBRNE) Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake was celebrated on 27 November 2023.
The celebrations commenced with the traditional working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander NP Perera, followed by the address to all ranks of the Wing. The Commanding Officer highly appreciated the tireless effort of the CBRNE First Responders for their dedication and contribution towards the development of the Wing.
Subsequently, a gathering was conducted to enhance the unity among the CBRNE First Responders. The Southern Air Commander and Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commodore SDGM Silva graced the event as the Chief Guest.
