The Change of Command at SLAF Station Sigiriya was held yesterday (24 January 2024).

The Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade took place at the Station parade ground where the outgoing Acting Commanding Officer, Wing Commander AMSK Amarakoon MHRM, B Com (Def Stu) handed over the command to Group Captain SV Premawardana USP, MSc (SMgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), MISMM, XF.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain SV Premawardana previously held the appointment of Commanding Officer of the No. 01 Leisure and Recreation Wing, SLAF Academy China Bay.
