125 Gunners who successfully completed the 20th Gunner Advanced Course (TEII) had their passing out ceremony at SLAF Station Palaly on 29 April 2011.

They completed 16 weeks of extensive training where they focused on Drill,Weapon Training, Live Firing Exercises, Jungle Survival and Guerilla Warfare.The course was structured to also developed their skills in Leadership,Intelligence Gathering, Model Briefing, Combat First Aid, Basic IT knowledge and the fudiments of Air Power.

The Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain Athula Kaluarachchi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and awarded trophies to outstanding performers of the course.

For exceptional performance, Corporal Wijesooriya DMC was awarded the Best All Rounder of the No. 20th Gunner Advanced Course.
