Major General Thomas L Conant paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama recently. The General was accompanied by the US Defence Attache Lt Col Patrick J Schuler and  a delegation of two officers.

Major General Conant who is on temporary duty with the Marine Forces Pacific is slated to take over duty as the next Deputy Commander of the United States Pacific Command. After a brief discussion on matters of mutual interest an exchange of mementos took place.
