Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya celebrated its 33rd Formation Day recently.

The Base Commander Air Commodore KFR Fernando inspected the working parade which was held to mark the formation day and which initiated the proceedings of the day.

Shramadana campaigns were conducted at the Sri Bodhidakshinaramaya temple and Mundimuruppu Sinhala/ Tamill Vidyalaya. Furthermore prioritizing the bases social responsibilities, a dental clinic was conducted at the Kidawaram Kulama Vidyalaya.

Inter formation cricket matches were played and an all ranks lunch terminated the celebrations.
