In the View of the 'Maha Shivarathri' Day, an eventful day of social activities have been carried out by the Sri Lanka Air Force station weerawila on 19th January 2012.

Under the guidance of Commanding Officer SLAF Unit Weerawila Group Captain MDJ Wasage “Shramadana” campaign was organized at the “Weda Siti Kanda” temple. All servicemen of the station are actively participated to cleaning the steps leading from the base of the mountain up to the temple as well as colour wash of the temple.
