In celebrating the women’s day on 8th March 2012" SLAF Base H’goda launched a mega food carnival at its premises for the first time in the history. This food carnival embraced with 36 food stalls casing all kind of foods including Chinese and Indian with several Western and Eastern dishes.   

Specialty of this event was that, all the food stalls were knobbed by the wives of the serving men and the airwomen. The beer garden and the live music band added glamour to the occasion and it certainly geared up the crowd, moreover this was opened to the general public for them to have an opportunity to taste good quality range of products and to blend with the home of Air force Hingurakgoda.

Family food fiesta concluded with a great success adding another novel know-how to the locality over and above to the men and women in the Base.
