“Viru Liya Sarani” Programme At SLAF Unit Katukurunda
A Dental/Medical and Eye campaign was conducted at Anandaramaya tempale, Heenatiyangala by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Katukurunda to mark the World Women’s day 2012.
The event started off with religious activities and a cultural performance by Sunday school children. The Medical/Dental Officers and nurses of SLAF were assisted by Dr. Madura Dias, Dr. Ranjith, Dr. Sarath, Dr. Gunarathne, Dr. Senani, Dr. Tharushi and Mrs. Anusha (Eye Technician) from the General Hospital, Nagoda, Kalutara and National Institute of Health Services.
The chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrama graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Gift packs including yoghurt were distributed by the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit to approximately 500 Sunday school children.
