CMA Scholarships Awards Ceremony

The Seva Vanitha Unit in
collaboration with the Institute of Certified Management Accountants
(ICMA) awarded scholarships simple ceremony which was held on 29th March 2012 at Anuradhapura. The ceremony
was organized by SLAF Base Anuradhapura, under the patronage of
Chairperson SVU Mrs.Neelika Abeywickrama.
The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) sponsored the programme and awarded scholarships to 45 needy students. The ceremony commenced with traditional lighting of oil lamp followed by a two minutes silence in respect of those who made the supreme sacrifice to the Nation.
Squadron Leader Keshani Wickramarathna, Officer in Charge Seva Vanitha Unit Sri Lanka Air Force Base Anuradhapura, delivered the welcome speech and the Manager Student Affairs of ICMA, Mr. Danuka Sirinama described the concept of the scholarship programme. Acting Base Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Anuradhapura, Wing Commander WU Wijeweera, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the base participated at this function. The event concluded with the Vote of Thank delivered by Squadron Leader Thilakshini Abeynayake, Assistant Secretary Seva Vanitha Unit.
