The finals of the Defence Service Boxing Championship 2012, was held at the SLAF Katunayake Indoor Stadium on 07th and 08th May 2012. SLAF became Champions with 04 Gold and 04 Silver medals, whilst the Army become, runners up with 04 Gold and 03 Silver medals.

Major General Piyal Abeysekara graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Boxing, Air Commodore Lal Perera, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore Sumangala Dias, and several other officers were also present.

LAC Kumara SMR  -  Light Fly Weight under 49kg
LAC Jayakody TDNT - Light weight under 60kg
LAC Dilshan MYM - Light welter under 60 kg
LAC Sandun WL - Super Heavy weight over 91kg

Silver Medals
LAC Chandrathilaka - Fly Weight under 52kg
LAC Rathnayake RMSN - welter weight under 69 kg
LAC Suranga - Light Heavy weight under 81kg
LAC Priyadarshana - Heavy weight under 90kg
