The 2012 Inter Unit Karate Championship took place yesterday (23rd May, 2012) at the SLAF Sports Complex, Thummulla.

Twelve Teams representing all Air Force Establishments island wide participated in the championship where SLAF Station Ekala became the overall champions while SLAF Station Colombo was the runners up.

Group Captain MDJ Wasage Chairman SLAF Karate, Squadron Leader VSK Darmawardana Secretary SLAF Karate and Squadron Leader J Amarasinghe Assistance Secretary SLAF Karate were Organized the Event.
