The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the annual AOC’s inspection of the SLAF Unit Batticaloa on May 24th, 2012.

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander WMAB Wewegama and was accorded a street lining at the Unit premises. The Commander inspected all areas within the Unit and appreciated the enhanced development level of the unit. During the course of the inspection, the Commander also declared open the “Airmen’s Holiday Home Complex”.

Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed the troops and awarded commendations to an Officer and an Airman to appreciate their valuable services rendered to the development of the SLAF Unit Batticaloa.
