Sri Lanka Air Force men’s Basketball team emerged Champions by defeating the Sri Lanka Police in the Jaffna District Basketball tournament’s finals. The final scores were 70 (SLAF) to 50 (Police).

In this tournament only the SLAF team was the unbeaten team, which was able to beat SL Navy by 81 to 61 and Jaffna District School team by 62 to 30. In the semi finals SLAF defeated Jaffna district team by 75 to 51.The SL Navy became the 3rd place of the tournament.

The Jaffna District Basketball Association organized the tournament and held in Jaffna on 22 May 12 to 24 May 12 at Jaffna Central College.Hon. Minster Dauglus Devanada graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
