Inter Unit Badminton Champions 2012

The Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay became the Inter Unit Badminton Champions 2012 defeating the SLAF Station Cbo team at the Katunayake Indoor Stadium on 29th july 2012.
Over 100 players representing the 16 Air Force establishments took part in the tournament from 26th to 29th were Pilot Officer SARSU Bandara was awarded with the Corporal Gunawardana Memorial Trophy which is awarded to the best player of the tournament.
Base Commander Katunayake Air Commodore Sumangala Dias graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst, Secretary SLAF Badminton Wing Commander Amal Dias, CO E & T Wing Katunayake Air Commodore Wanigathunga, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo Air Commodore KFR Fernando were also present.
