SLAF Fire Fighters in Action at Trincomalee Fire
SLAF Fire Fighters swiftly responded to a call for assistance received from the general public in Trincomalee area. They helped extinguishing the fire within a short period of time averting a major disaster to other properties in the vicinity.
The fire broke out in a Hardware shop in crowded Trincomalee town area during the evening hours of 5th August 2012 and with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Navy and Police, SLAF Fire Fighters managed to douse the fire with minimum damages to the flamed building.
