The Air Force Open 08th Squash Championship held from 11th of August with the participation of 250 participants and concluded successfully today (18th August 2012) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Squash Complex at SLAF Base Ratmalana.

Miss.M.Methsarani and Mr Saman Thilakarathna Won the Women’s and Men’s Open Championship respectively after keen contested games.

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Director of Operations Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala, Director of Aeronautical Engineering Air Vice Marshal PDJ Kumarasiri,Director Dental Service and SLAF Squash Chairman Air Vice Marshal AMB Amunugamaand,Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore Sagara Kotakadeniya,  Chairman of the Sri Lanka Squash Federation Commodore Palitha Weerasinghe and Senior Officers of the SLAF were also graced the occasion.
