A trial was conducted on 22nd and 23rd Sept 2012 at Anuradhapura to select 18 Male riders and 10 Female riders for the forthcoming SAG 2013 which is scheduled to be held at New Delhi, India. SLAF cyclists showed excellent performances during the trial and 9 males and 4 females were selected to the national cycling pool.  The following were selected to the respective pools:
