A ceremony was held at the SLAF Headquarters this morning with the participation of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama to award badges to officers and other ranks.

2 officers received their flying brevets, 6 officers received their UAV badges, 3 officers and 5 rankers received the Land Based Air Defence badges having fulfilled the required criteria.

Director Operations Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala, Deputy Director Operations (Ground) Air Commodore MLK Perera were also present at the ceremony.
