The SLAF men and women Judokas became the Overall Champs at the 52nd National Judo Championship organized by the the Sri Lanka Judo Association which was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium Colombo on 30th November and 01st December 2012.

Overall the SLAF won the Open and Team categories of both men and women whilst bagging 15 Gold Medals, 09 Silver Medals and 03 Bronze Medals at the championship.

Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage graced the presentation ceremony as the Chief Guest.
