A dog breeding unit was declared open at SLAF Diyatalawa on 28th November 2012 by the Commanding Officer Gp Capt JA Amerasinghe. This project was initiated by Command Welfare Project Agro Unit. Presently twenty kennels are housed with different pedigrees of dogs. A trained staff with a veterinary surgeon Flt Lt LKHRT Amarasiri shoulders the responsibility of the section.
