SLAF men and women emerged runner up in the Western Province Inter Club Badminton Championship 2012 which was held from 07th to 9th December 2012 at the St. Thomas' College Indoor Stadium.

In the men's final Tamil Union Badminton Club beat SLAF and in the women's' final Aponsu Badminton Club beat SLAF after a keenly contested game.
