The First Deputy Chief of Defence, General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Admiral Igor Kabanenko paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, at the Air Force Headquarters this afternoon (21 December) along with a delegation. The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Ukraine, His Excellency Mr. Udayanga Weeratunga too attended this occasion.

The Commander held a discussion on matters of mutual interest with the Delegation. At the end of the visit, the Commander and the visiting Admiral exchanged mementoes to mark the occasion and Admiral Kabanenko entered his thoughts in the Visitors Book prior to his departure from Air Force Headquarters.
