University entrants Leadership Qualities and Positive Thinking through theoretical and practical training commenced on 17th January 2013 and the closing ceremony was held on 31st January 2013 with the Commanding Officer Group Captain WWPD Fernando and Professor Chandana Udawattha from the University of Sabaragamuwa participating.

The drill display that was performed by the students was the highlight of the ceremony and the students were trained by Flight Sergeant Ratnayake, Flight Sergeant Welagedara together with Squadron Drill Instructors in four days. A variety entertainment show was also arranged under the guidance of the Wing Commander SPVK Senadheera in order to highlight the hidden talents of the course participants.

Squadron Leader Ajith Jayakody led the prospective leaders’ course as the Officer in Charge to broaden the horizons of the students to meet future challenges as leaders.
