The English-Tamil medium pre school kids of SLAF Unit Batticaloa embarked on a field tour to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa on 23rd Feb 13. The tour was arranged on the request made by the parents and the kids gained a lot by visiting the ancient city. They were also able to enjoy themselves at the “Pasikudah” beach on their return journey. In keeping with vision of the pre school which is “Helping children to discover the world around them and values within it”, the field tour was a complete success and the opportunity to mix with each other will be a stepping stone to what lies ahead to build harmony among all ethnic groups.
