The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was held on 20th February 2013 at the Officers’ Mess SLAF Station Colombo. The AGM was attended by the Station Seva Vanitha Presidents and the Officers in Charge together with other senior members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by Assistant Secretary of the SLAF SVU Squadron Leader Prasanthika De Mel. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM and the election of office bearers. A presentation was also conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU during the year 2012 and the forecast for year 2013. Assistant Treasurer Flight Lieutenant Nalin Pieris was read the accounts pertaining to the year 2012.  This was followed by presentations by Station representatives on the SVU activities carried out at Station level during the year 2012.
