The SLAF Beach Volleyball teams kept the Air Force flag flying high at the National Beach Volleyball Championship 2013 conducted at the Beach Volleyball Court Complex Arugam Bay on 24 and 25 March 2013.

Both senior and junior national titles were won by the SLAF pairs and the noteworthy feature  being Sgt Asanka Pradeep and Sgt Pubudu Ekanayake of the SLAF defeating the reigning South Asian Beach Volleyball Champions, Mahesh Perera and Wasantha Ratnapala convincingly in the men’s championship.  In the women’s finals, the SLAF duo defeated the experienced national pair representing the Sri Lanka Ports Authority in straight sets.
