A Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental programme was conducted at SLAF Mullaittivu and SLAF Vanni from 19th to 21st March 2013. This is the initial programme of the series of Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental programmes planned by the Directorate of Dental Services. The purpose of this programme is to provide efficient and effective dental care for service personnel of the SLAF where is no adequate Oral Health Care service.

A team comprising of 07 Dental Doctors and 26 Dental Assistants participated in this programme which provided both preventive and curative dental care for all service personnel at SLAF Vanni and Mullaittivu. A Mobile Dental Clinic was also conducted at “Mudukulama Prajashalawa” at Vanni for school children of the area.
