The first Annual New Year Festival of the Pre-School at Sri Lanka Air Force Batticaloa was held on 28 March 2013 at the Pre-School premises under the patronage of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the camp after it was inaugurated by the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva  Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrema on 15th Jan 13. The Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force Unit Batticaloa Wing Commander WMAB Wewegama was the chief guest at the function

The students were trained by a dedicated staff which comprised of Mrs Arusiya, Miss Nilakshi and Mrs Jayasuba with guidance given by the Officer In charge of the Pre School Fg Off TP Gunawardana at all times.
